Just watch American Gangster…I like it. For you who love to watch gangster film, you must watch this movie. Denzel Washington and Russel Crowe act very good in this movie …Well ..not surprised because both of them are academic award winners. The story Based on the life of drug king , Frank Lucas (Denzel Washington) who turned into informant for police. He was arrested by Richie Roberts(Russel Crowe), a clean police who have big will to eliminate drug abuse.
The story line and the act of Denzel and Russel are the key point of this movie .The story is good, makes you feel like you watch series movie. It has long duration, about 2 and a half hours. Lot of conversation, so if you don’t like movie with serious conversation, don’t watch it. No comedy and little action. Morale message:Drug is dangerous…although it can make you very very rich and you don’t use it (as a supplier)…But in the end…it just hurting all people arround you and you are ended lonely.

Hey I’ve watched it too. It’s kinda too much violence for me, too many people shoot people hee hee.
But I agree with you that Denzel and Russel are great here, even though I love Denzel more hahahaha.
You know that it based on true story? But I read somewhere (I forgot the source) that FBI/NYPD is suing the producer because what mention at the end of the movie about many corrupt polices are not true.
Hmmm.. The producer should do their homework first before they put something important as conclusion at the end.

Ouu it is really based on true story..First I thought of that, because in the end of the movie there were years and some story mentioned..but it is not said in the film that it is based on true story, so I thought maybe it is just a movie…
